Where we are today (pre-launch)

  • Full product built end-to-end · 11-tab clinician dashboard live in demo
  • Adapters built for Polar, Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop · Muse adapter built (independent BLE protocol, hardware-validation in progress) · Mendi adapter in development as an independent BLE integration
  • Mendi confirmed May 2026 that an independent integration (Myndlift-style, hardware-only) is the supported model — no licensing or partnership barrier
  • iOS + Android consumer apps in design — required for at-home Mendi/Muse use to hit clinician dashboards
  • SOC 2 + independent pen-test scoping in progress · target start Q3 2026
  • Sham-controlled RCT in design phase · IRB submission planned Q3 2026 · ClinicalTrials.gov registration to follow
  • Hosted SaaS · free for licensed clinicians during early launch
  • Demo deployed at eegbase.com/demo · 11 tabs · pre-loaded sample clients + sessions

Why now

  1. Consumer fNIRS just hit price-feasible — Mendi $299, Muse Athena $475, Sens.ai $1,500. The hardware is finally affordable for clinic prescription.
  2. USCDI+ Behavioral Health pilot — ONC's 9-pilot federal program launched Q3 2026. First-mover advantage on the standards is open.
  3. AI scribe is table-stakes — Mentalyc, Upheal, DeepCura proved the workflow. We bundle it with the signal data, which they can't.
  4. BIDS / SNIRF / EDF+ export anytime — procurement teams can finally say yes to a startup. Standardised exports = zero lock-in.

The round

Pre-seed open · target $1.5M

We'll spend the $1.5M on: 18 months of runway, 4 hires (clinical PM, 2 engineers, 1 research engineer), keeping the platform free for early clinics, and standing up the Mendi partnership and multi-clinic research database.
